Bookings

Your booking is only secured when your invoice has been paid in full.

Should you wish to cancel your hire 50% of your hire fee is held as a deposit. This is non-refundable.

To be eligible to receive a refund due to cancellation minus the deposit amount the borrower must notify Perth Look Collection 7 days prior to their hire start date.

Hires that require to be sent via post are not eligible for refunds.

Once bookings are confirmed they are unable to be transferred to another date, or item.
Rental Returns
Local
-
Local returns must be made no later than 7PM the Monday following your hire.

Borrowers are expected to notify Perth Look Collection urgently if there is a delay in returning the item.

When a borrower returns an item late it impacts Perth Look Collection’s ability to clean and prepare the item for the next borrower. In these situations, borrowers will be charged the cost of a standard 4-day hire to reimburse Perth Look Collection for the disruption for each 4-day period that the item is late in being returned. In the event that a borrower fails to make late fees or adequate contact when required to do so, the matter will be passed on to an external debt-collection agency for recovery.

If the borrower has not returned the rental item(s) within 15 days after the return date, Perth Look Collection will consider the rental item(s) as non-returned and will charge the borrower 100% of the recommended retail value in addition to the rental cost that the borrower has already paid.
Postal

Postal returns must be made at your Post Office during opening hours the Monday following your hire.

Postal returns are to be lodged over the counter at the Post Office to ensure they are scanned. If the return is delayed due to not being lodged correctly the borrower is responsible for late fees.

Hired items remain solely the borrowers responsibility until the return tracking is scanned and initiated by Australia Post. Please ensure you receive a receipt as proof of lodgement using the provided return label.

Borrowers must notify Perth Look Collection if the provided return label becomes lost or damaged and are responsible for the purchase of a replacement express postage label.

Borrowers are expected to notify Perth Look Collection urgently if there is a delay in returning the item.

Dry Cleaning (Not Applicable to Bag Hires)

Perth Look Collection will dry clean the garment after the hire period. We use experienced dry cleaners that are familiar with the care instructions.

Borrowers agree to not attempt to clean the garment, if the borrower attempts to clean the garment and it results in permanent damage, additional costs will incur.
Damage to Hired Items/Lost and Stolen Hired Items

We expect our borrowers to keep the hire item in the condition in which it was received at the time of hire. In the event that the item should be stained or damaged, the borrower will be sent an invoice determined by Perth Look Collection to cover repairs or cleaning.

The invoice is conclusive to the amount the borrower shall pay. In the event the borrower fails to make payment 15 days from the date of issue, the matter will be passed on to an external debt-collection agency for recovery.

The borrower shall pay Perth Look Collection the full recommended retail price for replacement of any items which are not returned because they are lost or stolen.

Perth Look Collection’s invoice for replacement is conclusive as to the amount renter shall pay stated as the RRP on the website for the hired item at the time of booking.
Refunds

If your item does not arrive by the date specified as your rental start date at the time of booking then we offer a full refund of the hire cost.

Your refund will be issued after Perth Look Collection has received the return and the item is in unworn condition.

The refund amount excludes the cost of shipping.

Perth Look Collection does not offer refunds if your item does not fit or for change of mind.

If your event is cancelled due to Covid related restrictions or lockdown we will reschedule your booking to a later date or offer you a store credit to be used within 6 months. We do not offer full refunds for these circumstances.
Perth Look Collection reserves the right to take all steps necessary to collect amounts due from you, including but not limited to legal action and/or using third party collection agencies.
By making a hire with Perth Look Collection I am acknowledging that I agree to all terms and conditions above.
